モノを作ることが好きで、レザークラフトに出会ってからは財布、グローブ、バッグ、革靴など、革で様々なものを作り続けてきた。

すべてを革で表現した「革BONSAI」が、TLF革のデザインコンテスト2025にて最優秀賞を受賞。― 革靴製作の過程で生まれる端材や削りカス。その存在に向き合う中で、趣味の盆栽とレザークラフトとが自然に重なったことが製作のきっかけ。

　　　　　

革を剪定し、時間を宿す。その行為が形となったLeather BONSAIの新たな可能性を追求し続けている。

I have always loved making things, and since discovering leathercraft, I have continued to create a wide range of objects from leather—wallets, gloves, bags, and leather shoes.

“Leather BONSAI,” a work expressed entirely in leather, received the Grand Prize at the TLF Leather Design Contest 2025. While reflecting on leather offcuts and shavings generated in the process of shoemaking, my long-standing hobby of bonsai naturally intersected with leathercraft. To prune leather and allow time to dwell within it— this act itself took form as Leather BONSAI.

Even after receiving the award, I continue to explore new possibilities for Leather BONSAI.
